Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our esteemed health club in Norwalk, CT. As the Health Club Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, ensuring exceptional service, managing staff, developing fitness programs, and maintaining a safe environment. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
· Ensure outstanding service for all members.
· Address inquiries and concerns promptly.
· Enhance the overall member experience.
Fitness Program Development:
· Design a variety of fitness programs.
· Collaborate with instructors to create engaging workouts.
· Stay informed about industry trends.
Sales and Marketing:
· Develop strategies to attract and retain members.
· Promote membership packages and services.
· Participate in community events.
Operations Management:
· Oversee day-to-day operations.
· Maintain a clean, well-equipped facility.
· Develop efficient operational policies.
· Ensure safety, security, and risk management.
Staff Management:
· Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
· Provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
· Foster a positive work environment.
Financial Management:
· Develop and manage budgets.
· Monitor KPIs and financial metrics.
· Implement revenue-generating initiatives.
· Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Management, or related field (preferred).
· Previous experience in fitness center management.
· Certification in personal training or group fitness instruction (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM) is advantageous.
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
· Proficiency in fitness equipment operation and maintenance.
· Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
